about

Featuring two members of the Boston pop/punkers Bad Fogelberg, WHY ENGLAND SLEPT follows a different musical path entirely, featuring elements of post-rock, jazz, new age and prog. From the breezy cheer of "Gimme Some Brighton!" and the title track, to the melancholy of "Maplecroft" and sheer creepiness of "Pictures of an Exhumation," the project paints a broad palette of intriguing moods and soundscapes, and a second album - with an emphasis on guitar - will follow next year!
